liam leaving

sadly we have to say goodbye to liam melville from benny's team.

he's been given an opportunity to pursue a professional cycling career which he couldn't resist.

liam competed in a cycling race from goulburn to sydney and came in at 7th place overall, beating a guy who competed in this years tour de france. straight away he was offered a sponsorship contract with a cycling team. 

he decided to put his carpentry apprenticeship on hold and go for it! 

for now he will be training full time and then compete in 'the tour down under' held in tasmania. if he proves himself there, he will be offered a place in the european team.

we wish liam all the very best!
